1. Setting Up the Japanese Keyboard on iOS devices

1. Go to Settings
2. Type “Keyboard” on the Search section
3. Select “Keyboard” and then tap “Keyboards“
4. Click “Add new keyboard“
5. Type “Japanese” on the Search section then choose “Japanese“
6. Choose Input Method: You’ll be prompted to choose between Kana (for easier typing with character suggestions) or Romaji (typing Japanese using English letters) or you can choose both.

2. Setting Up the Japanese Keyboard on Android devices

1. Go to Settings: Open your device’s Settings app.
2. Type “Language” in the Search section
3. Select “Language & Input“
4. Select “Manage keyboards“
5. Add Japanese Keyboard: Tap on your current keyboard (e.g., Gboard or Samsung Keyboard) and select “Languages“
6. Choose “Add keyboard“
7. Choose Japanese: Look for Japanese and enable it.
8. Choose Input Method: Like iOS, you can choose between Kana (12-key) and Romaji (Qwerty) typing.
